Just scored a 39 with this beer at the Carolinas BrewMasters U.S. Open! There was some stiff competition, so I didn't place, but still very pleased with the results. Feedback was that the beer was flawless, and that it could benefit from slightly more malt complexity.

Interesting as I'm drinking a Bitburger. Malty? No. Sweet. Yes, at least to me.

Yeah, I am honestly a little perplexed at that feedback. I did a blind taste test with Bitburger and could barely tell the difference. And malt complexity was not a factor in distinguishing them...
