Hey all,

Upgraded my panel to 50amp back-to-back and also swapped out to DIN components.

Firing up the panel (no connections to pumps or elements) looks mostly good - lights are turning off and on depending on the switch, relays are "thumping" like normal, no strange sparks or smells Smile . The issue that I see is the amp meter showing 0.01 (sometimes moving back to 0.00) and I wanted to make sure that was okay. I don't recall seeing it before on my 30amp panel and I certainly don't want a zap.

Thanks for any thoughts.
perogi.

Side note: also having issues with the voltmeter - no numbers are lit but going to triage that later. (I did confirm that the adjustment screw is in the center.)

Slight amperage change from 0 to 0.01 is normal. The items in the panel do draw some current, possibly just slightly higher than before.
If you want to be sure, add up the power draw of each component from before and compare to what you have now, though good luck finding the power draw of the individual components.

TL/DR: It's normal. Wink
