What's everyone got up their sleeve for this weekend? I'm building a new control panel.

Nothing that elaborate - will likely be racking my Electric Hop Candy Jr and possibly making a starter for a Kolsch.
Kids are both off to different camps next week so there will running around/getting ready.

Happy weekend!

Kal

Building a Spunding Valve assembly. I've read mixed reviews about using the Control Devices adjustable pressure safety valve (issues with inconsistent set pressures, leaking, inaccurate markings) so I'm going to try an adjustable Parker pressure relief valve instead.

http://ph.parker.com/us/en/relief-valves-rv-series

I'll try it for dry hopping under pressure - I've read it could improve APAs and IPAs.

yes the company that makes this does amazing work and the best part when you thread a nipple in, it doesn't bind half way, the threads match up is perfect

This weekend I will be brewing two 15 gallon batches. A White Stout and a Rye beer. What is everyone else up to this weekend?

I'm a little reluctant after the last time I brewed flash flood right at chilling, 4" of rain in 1 hour, not a good brew day and yesterday it rained all day

I'll be kegging a Blueberry Gose, trying to empty my keg of Serrano Peppered Irish Stout, and brewing a TBD German style.

Welcome to The Electric Brewery! Also, one of my best Friends lives in Fremont Hills near the Golf Course.

Welcome!

I'll be brew-free weekend for me... I still have a Kolsch fermentation finishing off so I'm probably a week or so away from the next brew...

Thanks, I'm on the site regularly, but anytime I have a question, it looks like it's already been asked and answered. Your friend is probably within yelling distance from me. Are they homebrewers as well? I'm president of our local homebrew club (Zymurgists of the Ozarks) and would love for them to join us some night regardless.

Ozarks Mountain Brew - you've got to be nearby as well.

Just need to hook up ventilation, and then forget the testing, I'm hoping to dive right into my first indoor brew (or two)!

We sure do, those guys are great. There's a couple of us in the local club that have builds based off of Kal's design. It would be great to see you at our next meeting if you're interested. - Cheers!

Brewing one of my favorites this weekend: the RIS from this site. It’s dangerously good.

One of my favorites! I think I've had it permanently on tap now for 2-3 years.
