Hey all,
First post here. I thought I would say hello and post some pictures of what I'm building during the process. Wanted to thank Kal for the great info provided. I'm building a modified 30a Kal Clone. I've finished the control panel and built the kettles, now I'm in the process of renovating the garage to make it a brewery/kids storage.(more brewery ) Luckily I am an electrician so running the wiring was no problem.
If anyone has any questions about how I went about the build id be happy to share. I also have a couple of punches that I'll be putting up in the for sale section soon.
I'm using:
3 - 16 gal Bayou Classic Kettles
2- 5500w ULWD elements courtesty of Kal's site
1- Blichman Riptide Pump for wort movement
1- Keg King MKii for water movement
1- 30 plate chiller
Set up all connections with QD's
Control panel is a mash up of Inkbird PID's, an Auberins EZBoil, and other Auberins parts. Used a din rail system for breakers and conactors.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing!
If you're like me, the hardest part is probably finding room for all that stuff first before you can move the brewery in!
Good luck!
Kal

Just thought I’d give a quick update. So far the electrical is all set, a 290 cfm exhaust fan has been installed, insulation has gone in where I can do it and the rest will be done in the spring. It’s currently about 10 degrees here in New England and I just can’t work out there in this weather. Wayyy to cold. I’ve also accepted a small refrigerator for free which is great. I’m gonna use that to store/ferment. I might even by a new freezer to build a new keezer and use my existing one to lager. So many options, but we will see what happens!

Well I know that its been a while since I updated this, but it is ready for brewing! We will be doing a 10 gal batch of a Mexican Cerveza. A beer that we and all our friends love during the warm months. Then we will be doing our Bunker Blonde, and possibly a NEIPA, and many more.
So the following pictures are of different stages of the build. plus some of the equipment testing that I did. So excited and can't wait until Sunday!
