So, after having Cask Ale for the Super Bowl last year, I searched for a beer engine.

I found an Angram CQ on Ebay and am setting it up for the Super Bowl. It has a cooled cylinder.

Cask wise, it will be the Pin Cask with a Best Bitter (was making an ESB and had a spill).

I've made a "python"from three 3/8 LLPE tubes covered in pipe insulation. Going to try to get next size up and non-slitted next time.

I have John Guest fittings to go with the QD's on my Fermenter Glycol system. I found a 3/4 BSP to 3/8 JG adapter that's going on the tap.

I will Soft/Hard Spile it as needed to condition, and will probably throw the CO2 breather on it so I have good beer the next couple days if the party doesn't kill the cask.

This is on the list of things to add to the setup. Looking good Master! Thanks for testing this out. I'm anxious to hear how it all works out for the big game. Keep us updated. Cheers brother!

I have more free time than I know what to do with at my new job. So of course I'm going to be playing with brewing stuff.

I just had some fittings arrive in the mail from Brew Hardware. I'll be out in the workshop welding up my new Keggle (formerly my MLT)

Weldless is nice at times, but it's a shame to have a giant TIG welder and not use it.

Turned out to be a success. To my surprise, nobody really balked at cellar temp beer.

We drank all but 1/2g or so of the Cask.
Also killed off 1/2 a keg of Bohemian Pils, put a dent in the Porter and kicked a keg of cider.
