Hi all

Another question.

Just stripped back the 22 G wire as directed to wire the PID to the SSR. Noticed that the 22 G wire (from the wiring kit) has 2 much smaller wires. Do i crimp these together and wire as one in the PID and SSR (twice, one for positive and one for negative)? Or do i pull back the outer insulation sufficiently and one smaller wire each to positive and negative?

Can't find any directions on the site or in the forum.

Any help is much appreciate.

Hawk

Hi!

Can you take a picture of what you mean? There's 4-conductor and 2-conductor usually in the kit, for use as needed for some of the low-current stuff.

Some things will need 3-4 wires so use the 4-conductor (sometimes leaving one unused). In some cases only 2 wires are needed so the 2-conductor works well.

You don't need to double up or crimp two wires into one.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is this the correct wire to wire the PIC to the pos/neg SSR connections?

Says 22 AWG

Yes. You need two 22 ga wires and that’s what’s you have there.

Good luck!
