My next batch is a Belgian Quad that used 4 lbs of Belgian Candy sugar. My plan is to add it to the end of the boil. Brewing on a propane system I was always careful to prevent scorching. Any tips on the best way to add this much sugar without too much scorching?

Add it in slowly, over a few minutes. I'll usually use a large spoon and scoop it in with the boil PID set to 100% temporarily while I do that.

Not sure what sort of tips you're looking for? Add the sugar slowly and you'll be fine. Good luck!
