I'm wiring a pre-cut box from Auber. I have plenty of solid core wire around the shop. Can I use solid core bare copper instead of buying the green T90/THWN/THHN?

Thanks

Check to make sure the parts you are connecting to are ok to take solid core. Most are probably not as the connections will not be as good. Stranded wire in most cases will provide a more secure connection than solid core wire. Solid core is considerably harder to work with as well.

Make sure the wire is rated for the voltage and current required too. (Current is typically a function of the gauge).

Good luck!
