Is there any point in using a charcoal filter on your water if...
1. My source water is low enough in minerals that I can edit it up to wherever i need it
2. I'm using Potassium Metabisulfite in the HLT at start of brew day for Chlorine/Chloramine
3. My water tastes fine from the tap to begin with
I'm pretty sure the answer is "no" but would welcome opinions or reasons I'm not thinking of to keep it in my system. Thinking of just omitting it in my new build.
thanks!
