Shouldn't my 30amp gfci trip at this poimt? See picture as the amp reading is >30 amps.

The trip rating can vary with temperature and there's some cushion built in too. For example, not your breaker brand most likely but take a look at the curves one page 6 here:

Quote: "When applied at ambient temperatures other than 40°C, the current-carrying capacity and/or trip characteristics of the circuit breaker may vary."
