Welcome to the forum!
Most likely a poor connection between the fuse and the fuse holder. Heat is created when current flows through an area that is too small to handle the amount of current. More current flows through a smaller area which in turns creates more heat which can melt the insulation on wires and damage nearby components.
It could also happen if you used a fuse that was too larger (say 15A) and were pulling more than the 10A that the fuse holder is rated for. This is obviously less likely.
Your Amazon link is to the fuse holder - that's the one you used? (It's correct). What about the fuses themselves?
Is your panel all built with the same recommended parts and you're using the recommend pumps? (If using the recommended 7A fuses all this wouldn't matter as the fuse would pop as it should if you used things that draw too much current)
I hope this helps,
Kal

Hello Kal, yes I'm using the recommended 7A fuses:

I'm also using chugger pumps:

Now that you mention it, there was a small circular piece of metal inside of the fuse holder that wasn't seated quite right. I have since replaced the fuse and holder so we'll see what happens. Thanks for the response!

Makes sense. It was probably only touching in a small area which caused it to overheat. Replacing is your best bet as you've already done.
