I now have 4 buckets, 5 carboys and 6 corny kegs. I've been using yellow stickies to keep track of what's in each vessel and transferring the stickies when I rack to the next vessel. Anyone have any other creative methods for keeping track?

I use blue painters tape and a sharpie, not the most high tech solution, but it works...

Green painters tape with a sharpie. I write the batch # and the beer, example "186 ESB" was my last one. This tape goes on the 7.5 gal fermenting bucket, gets moved to the 5 gal glass carboy (brite tank), then moved to the handle of the 5 gallon corny keg.

My kegs are numbered and I track the contents in a notebook. For these I want more history than just the current contents, like the last time I changed all the O-rings.

That's a good idea too! I really wanted to see how everyone kept track when they racked from one vessel to the next. I guess I could number everything and keep track in a notebook. I already have a brewing log book, I could just expand that. I do like just putting temporary labels on the vessels and moving them when I rack.
Thanks for the ideas.
