I have one of these monster 24.9cf freezers as well. Does yours have the beeper that beeps above freezing? If so have you been able to kill the beeping/beeper? How long have you been using it as a keezer? Castermmt

Mine is a Frigidaire that's been in use now for about 6 months or so I think, maybe a little less...

Thankfully no, it does not beep at me!!! If I had to guess perhaps the beeper is behind the grill plate on the end of your freezer where the compressor is located??? I'd try removing that and if you're lucky perhaps it's a quick-disconnect plug wired to the beeper...

Mines a Kenmore and I think the beeper is in the handle attached to the top.

Well then if mine had a beeper that'd explain it... I disconnected the cable at the back of the lid when I moved it up on the collar, so there's no power to the lid for the light or any other device if it were there...

EDIT: I just checked the specs for my freezer and I'm pretty sure it has no alarm function.

Castermmt - This thread might be totally irrelevant, but it might give you some ideas to go on for your freezer...

This might be more useful since you have a Kenmore...
