The recent posts area at the top of the page does not remember if I have visited a thread or not.

This is not a recently developed behavior. I just realized I needed to give feedback in this thread. Still acts quirky for me...

So. I think it is happening every time I close my browser and re-open it. I swear it happens other time while the browser has been open a while and I refresh the home page..
Here is a screenshot taken a few minutes ago.
I closed the browser and re-opened it to the forum and here it is. Shows I haven't read any posts...
BTW: I tried the log off and back on thing... no dice. sorry...
Also, this really isn't that big of a deal man. Don't wreak your free time chasing these gremlins in the forum. I just thought I would bring it to your attention.

What do you see different in the screenshots? They look the same to me which is what I'd expect. It's a list of the most recently posted to topics.
If you click on one of the topic links it should take you to the last post in the thread I believe. I don't think it remembers what you read. (I may be wrong on this but it's been years so I added this feature to my forum software - this is the same software I use over at my home theater forum). I don't think it remembers exactly where you were last.
What kinds of links do you get when it doesn't work right?
For example, it should be something like this:
http://www.theelectricbrewery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=298595#298595
The "p=298595" directs right to that post. (p=post).
These are the same links you can see when you hover over the little text link name "link" to the left of the post time.

Notice the first image has the first four posts "grayed out" Indicating that I have read those posts. The second image has them bold blue indicating I have not read them. Pretty standard form practice from my experience on forums.
