Kal, Spike,
Any idea of how many kal panels are out there, both user made and spike made? Also, any idea of the geographic breakdown? I work with mapping software and always think about geographic distribution. If we had a list of zips, I could create some simple maps to show the locations, denisty, heatmaps, simple locations, etc.
Btw, going to be brewing my 5th batch this weekend and still amazed with the system and amazed I built it.

I am going to put an app in my amazon cloud server to have people self report. Here is the template I am going to use.

Here were the questions I was thinking

Gas or electric
Kal clone or custom

Perth, Australia.
DIY Control Panel is in the mail, on its way to me.
Will be doing a full Kal clone.
Currently using a 3v system, All Grain
Have another mate here in Perth who has just built his Kal clone, he will be giving it a test run shortly.

I'm on the map but what I put there is now out of date. I upped to the 50 amp design.
Having said that, I have yet to get much more done!
Cheers,

Modified ElectricBrewery. 50Amp back to back kit. (3) bottom drain keggles. Home made false bottom from the 'bottom' disk cut off a keg. Slats w/cutoff wheel on angle grinder + 1,200 holes gets me about 85%+ efficiency.
Started building 4-1-12, first batch, first all grain batch (1st place winning Dus Alt), 8-11-12. Been tinkering with it here and there. Working on fermentation side now. Going with 15 gallon LME drums from my LHBS x 3 for 33 gallons of fermentation space. Will pressure-rack with CO2 from drums to keg
An hour West of Fort Worth, Texas.
