It's a busy time of the year with all the orders placed recently.

Mike posted some pictures of 50A control panels being assembled on their facebook page that I thought I'd share here too:

So that's where my panel came from. Smile

Thanks guys! I work my arse off and it's impossible for me to let something go unless its near perfect! Trust me, I have a lot of practice (i.e. 70+ at this point). I think I could wire these panels in my sleep (if only!)

And I apologize for the crappy quality of the first 3 photos from today. I'm still running on an 'ancient' Iphone 3GS and the camera is so bad compared to the new ones!

Looks great Mike! One question, when are you gonna build one for yourself?

Who knows? Haha. Hopefully sometime soon. I'm getting the itch to brew again and I need to get everything set up.

10-12 weeks is still an accurate turnaround time on all pre-assembled panels at this point.

Castle Creek: All of your estimates on turn-arounds are posted on our order pages for all our products. They are all kept up to date.

Orders are processed in the order they are received, panels are built in batches. The sooner one is ordered, the sooner the customer gets in the queue, and the sooner the build starts.

Strange. I posted these photos in a Facebook album and have gotten (what are to me) a couple of odd comments from someone named David Sykes:

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.467798506613189.107085.143443465715363&type=1

I thought his first comment was said tongue-in-cheek but I'm no longer sure based on a follow up comment.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but it sounds like he doesn't like using technology or science to make beer.
That is of course fine. Do as you please. I just find it odd that he'd post a comment at all.

Haters gotta hate...

Meanwhile, I'm brewing 12 gallons of Buggz' Brown Ale without running around, using all of my wife's pots and pans and having boil overs on my stove.

Hey Kal I noticed there are no pictures of the layout measurement diagram for cutting holes in the 50A box like the ones you have for the 30A box in part one DIY for the control box. Specifically only the bottom as thats the only difference right? I only ask because I am think of buying one and using a water jet service to have them cut the holes. I am sure Spike has a template he uses that can be posted.

Depends on which 50A panel you're referring to. The front of the 50A control panel for 30+ gallons is identical to the standard 30A control panel. The 50A control panel for back to back batches has one extra switch on the front so a couple of others need to be moved slightly.

Both are different for the bottom.

Hole size for receptacles can vary based on the manufacturer you end up buying from so it's always best to get all the parts in first to confirm before the panel is punched.

I don't have the measurements myself but send us an email to sales@TheElectricBrewery.com and we'll see what's possible.
