|

I bought the Auber ASL-51Timer to match my PID's and am needing some help in figuring out how to wire it up in place of the Omega timer. Any one out there done this yet? Thanks

Go with the number 9. I chained all the Hots together back to the Hot Bus. I will post a pic tomorrow with mark ups.

you need power at #13 so you could chain one of the 13's to one of the 9's if they are already going to the hot bus

I see that now. I thought the PID would pickup power at #13 and supply power for the whole unit, but I understand that you need to jump power to #9 to supply power to the alarms. Thanks.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the wiring setup, I really appreciate it. Do any of you have simple set-up and usage instructions for this timer unit?
Any simple help would certainly be appreciated.

And FWIW, I'm using function code 08 on mine (1S - 99M59S, count down) and relay mode 2 (counting starts on reset).

You bet! Don't really need seconds on the timer, but I like to see something happening!

Thanks for the diagram, I got the ASL-51 since it was so much cheaper than the Omega timer. One quick question, should there still be a wire going from the push button to the neutral bus? Kal's drawing had a wire to the neutral bus along with a wire to the timer on the top of the switch but it looks like you removed it from your drawing.

No the switch just shorts pin 1 and 4 together when you press it, causing the reset.
