Hey Guys-

Over the 4th of July weekend, my family and I finally got a new puppy for my daughter to grow up with (our previous dog unfortunately got attacked and killed by coyotes a few months back). Crazy thing is, we've had her for nearly three days now and still cannot come up with a name!

She is a 10 week old Bully-pit rescue(1/2 american bulldog, 1/2 pitbull), looks like a cow, and is a little monster who loves to bite everything and can already climb every gate we put in her way Very Happy

We've been trying to come up with something beer related as it is a huge part of our lives (not my daughters of course, yet anyway Wink )

Got any ideas? (we'll take non-beer related names too). We'd like to keep it to two syllables, and something that can be said authoritatively to make discipline a bit easier. Please no super girly names here, she might be a girl, but shes gonna be a daddy's girl. Laughing

Sorry to hear about your previous dog, Spike. We have a lot of coyotes here in W. Mass., too, and have to keep an eye on our small dog when she is in our fenced in yard sometimes.

I agree with Kal - cute pup! Here are a few beer-related names for you:

Duchesse (as in Duchesse De Bourgogne)
Citra (if you want to name your dog after hops)
Cascade ("Cassie", for short)
Brewster (sounds like more of a guy's name)

Actually, that pic reminds me of the RCA-Victor dog, "Nipper", so I would cast my vote for Nipper, even though it's not beer related (it is electronics-related, though!)

so just to update, it took us nearly 3 more weeks for us to name the dog Drunk

My fiance finally won out and we decided on Dolce, with the conditions that her full name be:

Dolce Moo Cow Monster (my request of course) Laughing

I think the moo cow is pretty self explanatory, but the monster was double sided. I love Monster energy drinks, and she really acts like a monster getting into everything. She managed to jump from the floor into the kitchen sink last night from a stand still. Shes gaining over 5lbs a week and turning out to be quite a handful.

But it is nice to have a companion in the house again Very Happy

Mike

I like it. Dolce means "In a gentle and sweet manner.". The rest of the name is the completely opposite. I like it.

Looks like a twin to mine, his name is Wishbone, which isn't gender specific.

I wish she was still that small. She's a giant 55lb baby now. Thinks she's a lap dog Rolling Eyes
